Supercut Sunday

Nora got her hair cut today... for only the second time in her life! Here are some more pictures for you to see before, during, and after. She was so good, and her stylist Deborah gave her a balloon when she was finished. Nora got to have a "Special Treat" for behaving so well during her haircut, and she chose a Crunch Bar for a reward (CANDY!!!).

Spring Training -- Baseball is Coming!

Melissa Davis and I had a great spring training boondoggle down to Phoenix, AZ. Thanks to the Jemmett Family for the awesome hospitality! We saw 3 games in 4 days - SF Giants and Oakland Athletics versus various opponents. Saturday was a freak rainout - freezing cold and stormy - tons of snow in the mountains around the valley! More photos on Flickr.

Aden & Maya - Nora's Pals

These are Nora's two very best friends... we had a fun dinner party with Aden's parents (Shah & Shelina) and Maya's parents (Lisa & Riaz) -- it was very fun and the kids were great... even when it got late and the parents wanted to keep chatting!

Plant Trees + Stop Junk Mail = Green Dimes

I just found this web site to deal with my huge junk mail problem: GreenDimes. For a dime a day they get your name off direct mailing lists and keep it off, and plant a tree for you every month. So if you want to stop your mailbox from overflowing, and save some trees, take a look at GreenDimes. Note: I have noticed a HUGE reduction in the amount of junk mail I have been getting!
